The petitioner seeks a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to
grant 5% relaxation/concession in qualifying marks in the Haryana

qualifying marks from 60% to 55% at par with the Scheduled Castes

representation dated 10.12.2011 (Annexure P-10) but without any response
thereto. The petitioner has relied upon a decision of this Court dated

State of Haryana and others) (Annexure P-7) for consideration of his claim
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the
considered view that the afore-mentioned representation of the petitionerCWP No.24276 of 2011
requires sympathetic consideration by the respondent-authorities. The writ
petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondentauthorities to consider the claim of the petitioner in the light of the
observations made in the order dated 4.11.2011 passed in Kiran and others'
case (supra), within a period of two weeks from the date of receiving a
certified copy of this order.
